I loooove this time of year.

Do you feel the endless possibilities in the air? The roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-to-work, kinda vibe?

Well my friends, it’s time to bust out your day planner (and if you don’t have one, are you really living?!?) Do yourself a solid and grab this one. You can thank me later.

My friends, my pals, my kindred spirits … it’s time to start from a clean slate and create whatever it is your gigantic heart is desiring.

A few ground rules …
There are no rules. Eff ‘em. Kidding.
There is one rule … Make your own.

There are a couple of guidelines though:

1. Get clear on what you want.

2. Act from the place of already being/having what you want – embody the you who is already there. What sorts of decisions, actions, feelings and thoughts is that you making, taking, feeling and thinking?

3. Get behind what you’re doing. Don’t do things just for the sake of doing them.

4. The whole process should be aligned with who you are. That means every step of the way – don’t just focus on the end result.

While we’re at it …
Let’s ditch the:
“When I start making money, then I’ll …”
“When I lose 20 pounds, then I’ll … ”
“When I have more time, then I’ll … ”
“As soon as I get more organized, then I’ll …”
You’ve already spent enough time living the ‘wrong’ life.

Trust me when I tell you, you can’t think/plan/organize your way to your life’s purpose, a slimmer waistline, to joy, to $10,000 months, to a love-filled relationship, or anything else you’ve been in your head about.

The things you want require action, and action taken when you feel uncertain requires faith. The more often you do it, the more you’ll learn to trust yourself. Because if we’re being honest here, that’s the heart of the matter. Lack of trust.

But you’re going to have to make some moves in order to make a deposit into your trust account. Start small. Super small.

Bit by bit you’ll realize that you can be trusted.
You can be trusted to know what’s in your best interest.
You can be trusted to follow through.
And you can handle whatever comes up along the way.
Your people-pleasing, your silence … That’s in the past.
Sure, it’s chipped away at your trust – self-betrayal has a way of doing that. But now, here we are.
Dust yourself off my friend. We’re about to ride into the motherfucking sunset.
